Things take longer than you think

Shorter newsletter this week.

The reason: I’m taking a long weekend with the family to celebrate, let’s just say, a landmark birthday.

And I’ve been reflecting on the last few years. How I thought things would play out and how they actually played out.

One theme I’ve noticed is that things usually take longer than you think.

It took longer than I thought to make the move from London to the coast, but I’m glad I did.

It took longer than I thought to find the right focus for my business, but I’m glad I did.

It took longer than I thought to start this weekly newsletter, but I’m glad I did.

And it’ll probably take you longer than you think to launch your online course.

But that just means you need to start sooner.

(And you’ll be glad that you did.)
